Emerald Necklace
This is one of many versions of a nearly 100-mile bicycle route that circles the city of Cleveland using a combination of roads and bike paths. The route starts at Edgewater Park and goes east through downtown Cleveland. It goes through several of the Cleveland Metroparks on the east side of the city, then connects to several more on the west side.
The busier urban parts of the route provide options to stop for food, drinks, and snacks. The park sections have many restroom stops.
Emerald Bracelet
This is an abbreviated version (60 miles) of the Emerald Necklace route, using a combination of roads, the Towpath Trail, and other bike paths to travel directly south from the city of Cleveland, then returning through a few of the Cleveland Metroparks on the west side of the city.
The busier urban parts of the route provide options to stop for food, drinks, and snacks. The park sections have many restroom stops.
