North Coast Inland Trail

The North Coast Inland Trail is a paved rail-trail connecting the cities of Elyria, Oberlin, Kipton, and Wakeman in Lorain County. The surface of the 13-mile trail is mostly paved with two very brief on-road connections.

It is hoped that the trail will someday extend west from Wakeman to Toledo. There are isolated sections of this trail completed with on-road connections: a short stretch east of Norwalk, from Norwalk to Bellevue, from wet of Bellevue through Clyde to Fremont, and from outside Fremont to Elmore and Genoa.
