Cleveland Magazine: On a Roll

The July 2010 issue of Cleveland Magazine mentioned our bicycle rental service, available in our Peninsula store:

The crushed-stone trail stretches out in front of you, narrowing to a thin white line in the distance as it's swallowed by the foliage of the Cuyahoga Valley. It's like this mile after mile, that white line always coaxing you onward. You could, of course, walk or run a portion of the 110-mile Ohio & Erie Canalway Towpath Trail, but the best way to experience it is from behind a pair of handlebars. No bike? No problem. Century Cycles in Peninsula, located near Lock 29, rents bikes for $8 an hour. While you're on the trail, keep an eye out for some of Century Cycles senior mechanic Derrick Kortvejesi's favorite parts. "I like these boardwalks they've put in," he says. "I also like the beaver marsh just south of Bolanz Road. You can pull off and sit down, and if Blossom Music Center is fired up, you can even hear the music."
