WEWS News 5 Cleveland: E-Bike tax break in Build Back Better Act could push an already growing demand into an extra gear
Reporter Kevin Barry visited our Peninsula store on December 13, 2021 to produce a December 16 story about the popularity of e-bikes in the Cleveland area, and the possibly of a federal e-bike tax credit in the Build Back Better Act could spur more demand. Entry level E-bikes can start at about $1,500 and quickly go up from there. Models like this one, with extra compartments and attachments to carry cargo can often cost more.
[Century Cycles Co-Owner Joshua] Ronschke rides an E-bike through the National Park with News 5 this week.
"That tax credit, I don't think is going to hurt anything," said Ronschke. "I think it's going to help a lot."
